p. 3 Sigma Chi B efore heading back to Stillwater for the fall semester, Gamma Delta sent 13 members to Krach Transformation Leadership Workshop, formerly Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, in Bowling Green, Ohio. We had the opportunity to learn and develop a plan to help our Chapter grow as an organization. Our brothers are excited to bring this information back to the Gamma Delta Chapter and begin a productive year. On Trend for Academic Success In the spring semester, the men of Gamma Delta placed seventh in grades. Our active members achieved a GPA of 3.22, beating our fall 2018 GPA of 3.205. We look forward to continuing this trend this fall. The only downside to our spring semester was saying goodbye to our graduating brothers. While we are sad to see them go, we are excited as they move on to a bright future. Philanthropic Dedication Spring semester also saw our annual Derby Days philanthropy. It was another huge success as we raised over $5,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Congratulations to our winners, Kappa Kappa Gamma. We elected a new Derby Days committee with the purpose to make Derby Days even more successful at Oklahoma State. Welcome, New Brothers Gamma Delta is very excited to welcome 37 young men who are committed to Sigma Chi. Our recruitment team did an excellent job finding men who display the requirements set in the Jordan Standard, as well as different temperaments, talents, and convictions. It is never too early for us to start recruiting the next class, so if you have any recommendations for us, please send their contact information to our recruitment chairman, Jared Kuykendall '20, at rushgammadelta@gmail.com. Talented Sigma Chis We performed our Spring Sing show, Essential Oils, with the talented women of Pi Beta Phi and it was a great success. Not only did the cast perform incredibly, they also made long-lasting bonds with each other. We look forward to working with our new pairings this fall. We are especially excited for this Homecoming season with our partner, Phi Mu. Brothers are eager to see how the directing team will combine their ideas and make this Homecoming one to remember. For the Freshman Follies, we are paired with the women of Gamma Phi Beta and look forward to a successful year in Greek shows.
