Concert THE BUZZ Movies Make a Difference by STEVE TURLEY With the success of recently released movies like Courageous and October Baby, this week in The Buzz we are checking out just a few faith-based films that are, or soon will be available. Uncondional releases to DVD on March 5. Based on a true story, Unconditional is an inspiring, redemptive tale of one woman's chance reunion with an old friend that starts her journey back toward God's unconditional love. When it played in theaters last fall, Unconditional touched the hearts of moviegoers and challenged them to share the love of God we are so freely given. Movie events can begin on March 5, when Unconditional releases on DVD. With a site license, you can show the movie to your ministry or church, inspiring people to make a difference in your community. Abel's Field speaks to students right where they are. Like many high school students, Seth McArdle is under enormous pressure. At home, he has no one to turn to. At work, he struggles to juggle his responsibilities. And at school, he endures the daily bullying from members of the football team. An unlikely mentor helps Seth as dark circumstances lure him toward a desperate decision. Now available for movie events, Abel's Field is ideal for a High School Movie Night or a Family Movie Night at your church. It will remind teens of the importance of making the right choices and having an adult they can talk to and trust. Ring the Bell takes a different approach. Big Hollywood productions have very exclusive red-carpet premieres. Coming to DVD on April 9, Ring the Bell — featuring Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman, Matthew West and big-league all-stars Rick Sutcliffe, John Kruk, and Ben Zobrist — is doing things a little differently. Ring the Bell is hosting premiere simulcasts at churches before you can buy it or see it anywhere else! Brought to you by LifeWay and Provident Films, these special church simulcast premieres are set for April 3-7 and are ideal after-Easter outreach events. Written and produced by Mark Miller of Sawyer Brown, Ring the Bell tells the story of high-powered sports agent Rob Decker who has never found a deal he couldn't close. But on his latest mission, Rob becomes stranded in a small town where the simplicity of life — and the faith of the people — stands in stark contrast to his own fast-paced, win-at-all-costs mindset. This heartwarming story of redemption will entertain and inspire the whole family. Whether you're looking for a DVD your whole family can enjoy at home or a movie to share with your whole church, there is bound to be a STEVE TURLEY, Station manager Christian film centered around the 107.3 COMMENTS?
