Program Spring Kickoff Set for Executive Newcomer Orientation The Fayetteville Regional Chamber announced today the creation of Connect!, an orientation program providing the region's incoming executives, medical professionals and military leadership with an interactive overview of the Fayetteville region. The program will serve as part of the Chamber's current Leadership Fayetteville program, which features a nine-month full community immersion program. Participants in the program, which will be held one evening each week for four consecutive weeks, will provide an exclusive opportunity to learn the unique history of our area, experience dynamic interaction with community leaders, receive insider perspective on community resources and challenges and immediately establish relationships with executivelevel peers. Welcome come o Members Juice Plus+ Fascinate-U Children's Museum BB&T - Affiliate - Waldos Beach "This unique program will help us to successfully transition newly arriving executives, military leaders and their spouses in a relaxed, enjoyable and informational environment," said Chamber President & CEO Doug Peters. "Helping newcomers to understand the community, its opportunities and resources and to meet the community's leadership will go a long way toward helping them to adapt to their new, unfamiliar environment." Over the course of the four-evening program, participants will gain a historical perspective of the community and learn about current and future economic development plans and the impact they will have on the community. cultural opportunities available as well as get a first-hand look at our educational systems, healthcare and opportunities to engage in service to the community. Leaders from each subject area will serve as the presenters. Participants will also gain a unique look and introduction to area restaurants, which will provide a different setting for each of the four class sessions. The program will be repeated four times each year, on a quarterly basis. Cost for participants is $175 per individual or $225 per couple. Class size is limited to ensure an informal, intimate and relaxed environment. More information will be available as the first session is formed.
