Next, interviewees were asked to rank Minnesota Alpha compared to other
sororities at the University of Minnesota when they were undergraduates. As shown
in Chart B, all respondents ranked Minnesota Alpha as "The Best" or "Among the
Best." Alumnae said the chapter often competed with Kappa Kappa Gamma, Alpha
Phi, and Delta Gamma in recruitment. Previous studies conducted by Pennington
& Company indicate alumnae who show a strong sense of pride will often lend their
support to help ensure their chapter's ongoing success.
