The nomination that the committee received was from a customer who is "nuts" about Bianchi Orchards. This customer shops there regularly for gifts for family and friends. Bianchi Orchards offers great locally grown products and great customer service. "They always welcome new and old visitors alike with that huge Bianchi smile," the customer said. Corning in the Evening • Corning in the Evening - Last Thursday the monthly event hosted by the Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber office was well attended and everyone had a good time. The Chamber hosted this month in order to start out the New Year by sharing our plans for a new website and introduce the new directors. Everyone enjoyed good food and the chance to visit and meet other members. A demonstration was given to those interested in what the new website has to offer. We are hoping to get it up and running soon. We will keep you posted. • Installation Dinner - The Annual Installation Dinner is coming up this Saturday and you still have time to get your reservation in. We feel it is important to work together to accomplish the goals we want to see in this community. The City can‚t do it alone, businesses can‚t do it alone and the Chamber and other clubs and organizations can‚t do it alone, but with everyone working together we can make things happen. • The Why I Love Corning essay contest has ended and The Daily News received a good number of entries before the deadline.
