Born in Essex County Massachusetts on May 12, 1926, he was the son of the late Michael and Olga Marioles Poulos. Mr. Poulos served our country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Morris Poulos; two sons, Michael Poulos and wife, Rhonda Johnson of Florida and Stephen Poulos and Christiane of New Hampshire; a sister, Stella Nall; and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. JAMES EVON "JIM" HELMS Mr. James Evon "Jim" Helms, age 86, of Cherryville, NC, passed away on June 15, 2018. He was born July 20, 1931 in Gaston County to the late Kenneth Hugh and Fay Houser Helms. Mr. Helms served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Linda Hall Helms; children, Sherrie Helms WILLIAM PRESTON HARMON, JR. Mr. William Preston Harmon Jr., "Billy", of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 14, 2018. He was the son of the late William Preston Harmon Sr. and Jean Wilkinson Harmon. Mr. Harmon is survived by his fiancé, Theresa Barber, of the home; stepson, Kevin Barber and wife, Rhonda of Kings Mountain; step daugh- ter Audra Price and husband, Thomas of Kings Mountain; sister, Julie Harmon of Boiling Springs; and four step grandchildren.
