"Watercolor Impressions" will be on exhibit Feb 14 thru April 6, 2018. A public reception will be held Saturday March 10, from 6-8 pm to meet the artist. Over his 30 year career, Dwight Rose has established himself as a veteran teacher and master watercolorist. Rose is a graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, earning a BFA degree in painting. He went on to teach both in Ringling's de- gree and community art programs. From 2001-2007 he lived in Doha, Qatar, teaching, traveling and painting through- out the Middle East and Asia. Exhibiting in Qatar, Turkey, and in the USA, his work is enjoyed and collected interna- tionally by both corporate and private collectors alike. During his exhib- it at Southern Arts Society, Rose will be teaching a two-day Watercolor Work- shop March 24 and 25. Subjects painted will mainly be land- scapes and some pri- or experience in drawing and watercolor painting would be helpful.
