Community Breakfast For Youth Saturday, October 20th, Poplar Springs Baptist Church held it's monthly all you can eat Community Breakfast. The breakfast sponsors the youth programs for the church. For just $5.00 you are offered homemade biscuits, scrambled eggs, country style gravy, grits, country ham, sausage, liver- mush, pancakes, coffee and drinks - as much as you want. The monthly 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. feast is prepared by volunteers and the youth of the parish. Each youth who works at the breakfast earns money for their personal church account. Shown here are some of the volunteers from the kitchen as well as people coming through the line for this awesome breakfast. It has to be one of the best breakfast bargains in the county.
