NWA Democrat-Gazette Best of the Best 79 Sunday, October 29, 2017 By Dave Woods NWA Democrat-Gazette W ith dozens of years of collective military and trucking experience, Chad Dewey and his two partners are making an impact on the Northwest Arkansas heating and air business. Co-owners of Absolute Heat and Air, Chad, his brother Lance Dewey and partner Mike Neil are determined to bring outstanding customer service to the folks who pick them for their heating and air needs. Chad said he is pleased with how their two-year old business is being received. "Man, it's been absolutely awesome," the Marine Corps veteran said. "It's great to have all the folks we had worked with before and had relationships with on our side. We're proud of our involvement with the Springdale Schools and JB Hunt, Walmart, Tyson and with the Springfi eld Chamber of Commerce. I feel like the customer service experience we received working those jobs really gave us the business foot forward having those relationships. Without that I think it would have been a real real struggle, so that's been so helpful." The crew at Absolute Heat and Air know what they like to do in the business and are developing a loyal following of residential and light commercial customers. "That's our sweet spot," Chad explained. "We have a total of 17 employees in our local offi ce. We were not going to try to do a big hospital or something like that. We like light commercial jobs like restaurants. But, we do new residential and new commercial and services, too. Or, retro for any of those kinds of jobs. It's what we love." "Ninty-two percent of the employees have more than fi ve years experience," he said. "We didn't just hire people that needed training and had no experience. We hired experienced certifi ed technicians. They are background checked and drug tested and we are insured and bonded." With so much military training behind them it's no surprise Absolute runs with military precision. "One of our big mottos is' attention to detail,'" he stressed. "Secondly 'we do what we say, and say what we do.'" The absolute teams current focus is building their customer base. Or, as Chad explained … their work family. "We what people to join our family and that's how we are running our business. Like a family," Chad said.
