The proposed project will consist of a new ±31,905-square-foot steel building, which will provide ad- ditional aircraft hangar and maintenance space, office space, storage areas, restroom facilities, and employee exercise facilities at the existing PJ Helicopters facility. The project will also include the develop- ment of new parking facilities, landscaped areas, a storm wa- ter retention pond, fire hydrants, and the extension of city water infrastructure from existing facilities on S. Jackson Street. The project is for the pro- vision of additional hangar space to accommodate existing helicopters and maintenance activities and will not result in any direct increase in flight op- erations or employees at the ex- isting facility. The proposed project would be located on a partially developed, city-owned parcel zoned 'AV' Airport (avia- tion) and designated 'PS' Public Service on the City's General Plan. The proposed project is situated on Assessor Parcel Number 035-021-004 at 903 Lang- ley Way (Langley Road). The City of Red Bluff has pre- pared a Mitigated Negative Dec- laration for the project. The Miti- gated Negative Declaration is being circulated to the general public and to public agencies for their review and comment.
