These folks come through the doors with a range of inquiries; they might need direc ons to a specific loca on or they might want sugges ons on how to spend an a ernoon or a couple of days in town. Because our team is o en the first faces visitors see in Cumberland County, the Visitor Informa on staff is responsible for the visitors' first impressions of our community. The Visitor Informa on staff con nually researches and educates themselves on all of Cumberland County's tourism ameni es. With their knowledge, a wealth of informa on at their finger ps, and their welcoming, friendly manner, it is no wonder that our customers rank their experiences at our visitor center 5 out of 5. No other organiza on represents all of Cumberland County's recrea onal Gift Shop opportuni es, and no other organiza on welcomes all of our community's guests. We carry locally-made products, including jams, jellies, BBQ sauce, t-shirts, hats and other trinkets. Our Visitor Informa on staff also sends a bi- weekly "What's Happening" report highligh ng events that week or weekend, manages the distribu on of Visitor Guides and provides materials and services to groups that visit our community. Our main office is open from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Visitor Informa on team staffs two satellite visitor centers in addi on to our main office. From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, stop by the Transporta on & Local History Museum to pick up a visitor guide, buy merchandise or ask ques ons. We also have a kiosk at the mall, just outside of the children's play area. For more informa on on our Visitor Informa on ac vi es, call us at 483-5311. The FACVB stocks our gift shop with lots of locally made and produced items and trinkets. In the shop you can find locally made food products (such as BBQ sauce, jams, salsa, pickles), pens, keychains, postcards and more. In addition to Fayetteville t-shirts and hats, this spring, we introduced some new clothing items - fun t-shirts, tank tops, stainless steel coffee mugs, hoodies and a variety of hats. Stop by our main office during business hours to shop the full selection.
