Graveside services were held in the Grassy Pond Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Vinestt was preced- ed in death by her husband, John L. Vinesett; her par- ents, Frank and Lillie Bolin Dixon; two sisters, Lois Dixon and Helen Bridges; and two brothers, Jack and Joe Dean Dixon. THOMAS ROBERT "TOMMY" WILLIS Mr. Thomas Robert "Tommy" Willis, age 59, of Cherryville, NC, passed away on May 22, 2016. Funeral services were held at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will be private at a later date. Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Wayne and Peggy Adams Willis; and a brother, Billy Wayne Willis. Mr. Bailey served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He received many medals including a Purple Heart.
