May 30, 2012 LETTERS FROM PAGE 4 tried to shut down Violet Kiss when she began touching upon the subject of Michael Roth, and when Violet Kiss reminded him that Call to the Public is not intended for interaction John Drum arrogantly grabbed up his brief case and abruptly left the meeting. Such lack of professionalism on his part and blatant disregard for the truth being spoken only intensifi es the reality that the County is against Quartzsite Town. After reviewing the video of how La Paz County Board of Supervisors minimized the serious message Violet Kiss delivered, then actually tried to stop her from speaking truth about our dire situation, the true colors are emerging and it is disgusting at best. http://www.youtube. com/watch?v=iu-TDNTn- AA&feature=uploademail Truthfully Written, Hygeia Halfmoon Quartzsite Resident http:// quartzsitearizonatruthtalkers.com CAMELS The are coming! www.facebook.com/AZCentennialofQuartzsite www.DesertMessenger.com Calling all crafters There's a new festival coming!! By Joanne Winer For all of you who love crafting, and also for all of you who love buying homemade craft items for yourselves or for gifts for others, there is a new event coming to Quartzsite! This is an event that will be full of all kinds of craft items and spaces avail- able for those who make them and want to sell them. The event is being called the Santa's Workshop Arts and Crafts Festival, and it is being sponsored by the Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce. The Festival will take place at Tyson Wells Show- grounds for two days on November 24 and 25, 2012. Tyson Wells owner Kym Scott has again generously donated the use of his facilities to the Business Cham- ber for this event, which will be a fundraiser for the Chamber in place of the Chili Cookoff they used to do. There will be both indoor selling areas in one of the metal buildings, and anyone with a canopy or shade can set up outside if they wish. There will be plenty of room for everyone, and they are hoping to get up to 100 partici- pants this fi rst year. If successful, it will become an annual event.
