H
appy fall, everyone! Our Chapter House Corporation had a busy summer helping the
membership prepare the house for recruitment in anticipation of welcoming 131 New
Members. Now, with 399 members, it has become more crucial than ever to consider expanding the
physical blueprint of our house.
In our last newsletter, I reported to you applications for building or remodeling would become
available this fall. We have since submitted the application. Detailed discussion among our Chapter
House Corporation, Alumnae Advisory Committee and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity Housing Corporation
led us to submit an application for a major renovation or complete rebuild on our current lot with the
understanding we would remain in our current house for now. This choice is based on the assumption
that an architect will find our current lot large enough to provide the addition needed to accommodate
the growth of our chapter and enhance our ability to carry out the mission of Pi Beta Phi. We are
excited about this opportunity.
In the meantime, CHC is working to update the den area on the first floor. This will be a project for
members to enjoy for the next few years. Thank you for your support as we move forward. We hope
you will stop by before a game and enjoy a meal with us.
Yours in Pi Phi,
