November 12th Annual Southern Christmas Show Trip The bus will pull out of the Shelby City Park parking lot at 8:30AM and return around 5PM to the Park. The cost for the trip which includes the transportation and the cost of the ticket is $27.00 per person. Sign-up at the Shelby City Park offi ce or call and reserve your spot (704) 484-6811. Old, Junior and Women will play from Red Tees. Ages 70-79 will play from Green Tees. Ages 60-69 will play from White Tees. 59 & Under will play from Yellow Tees. November 14th Midget & Pee Wee Football Championship Pee Wee & Midget Football Championship Day at Shelby High School. Pee Wee Championship is set for 11:30AM with Midget Championship set for 2:00PM. Admission is $1.00. December 5th Carrousel Christmas and Shelby City Park Tree Lighting. Come set on Santa's lap and tell him what you want for Christmas. Refresh- ments will be available with the Party beginning at 2:00PM. The Christmas Tree and all the other lights at the Shelby City Park will be turned on at 5:00PM for the Holiday Season. MEET OUR STAFF Jay Wallace Athletic Program Supervisor Jay's fi rst day as Athletic Programs Supervisor for the Park was on Mon- day, October 26th. He is a Gardner Webb University graduate and is mar- ried to Haley P. Wallace and they have one pet named Fen. He is an avid Tar Heel and Yankee sports fan.
