Last year, after riding to Sturgis, S.D., I received an email from Moody. She told me that she performed at Sturgis as "The Female Human Link." A few months later I was able to see Moody display her incredible strength in Raleigh. There, she held four motorcycles and kept them from moving while holding them with straps held by her arms. The engines were deafening as rubber flew at her and smoke smothered her until she was out of sight. Because of scheduling conflicts we have not been able to meet in person. I asked Moody to send me her story because I thought it was important for Fayetteville to know about her. This is what she sent to me. I am originally from California and now live in Fayetteville. I am the only woman catalogued by Record Setters to perform brutal motorcycle strength stunts. Restraining motorcycles with my arms and grip I can prevent motorcycles from taking off. The bikes hit speeds of 30 miles per hour and they use NO BRAKES during the stunt! I do not let the bikers use brakes in my performance so it is not the kind of burnout that most people expect. The physical part is very demanding and the mental part even more so. Having both tuned-in is what keeps me from getting hurt and it helps me to be fearless. I don't wear any protection when I do my stunts. You could say I am hard-core because I get burned and punished with hot rubber and asphalt. I have been blessed to showcase my strength at some of the biggest motorcycle venues in the country to include Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, S.D. and Daytona. It is a tough field for women doing stunts with motorcycles and getting the respect that you deserve, but I never thought of giving up. This is something that I love to do. I am an ambassador to the extreme sports for women. Every time I am showcased, I perform promoting women motorcyclists. I demonstrate that women can be mentally, physically and spiritually strong. As a daredevil you never rest. You are always looking for your next adrenaline rush. I hold six world records doing strength stunts and have several weightlifting records and twice I made the prestigious list of Women's Top 50 All Time and the All Time Historical Top 50 American Women. I have also been part of Team USA twice. As you can see I come from a long athletic background. I am an integrative medicine practitioner, as well. I promote a healthy lifestyle and women's health issues. I have been featured in many publications and TV/ radio programs. My future plans are very solid. I am working on a new world record. I have a very disciplined work ethic with my training and diet. I work with a trusted team that insures my safety.
