From 9am-1pm. All youth aged 12-18 are welcome to register to par- ticipate. Youth will be provided with all necessary in- struction and equipment to design and edit a short (2-3 minute) digital fi lm that will be posted on a fam- ily-friendly website. The camp will encourage creativity, but the fi lms must have a positive theme to it. There will be a family movie night the evening of June 16th, where youth can showcase their fi nished fi lms. There is no registration cost. The Film Camp is limited to the fi rst twenty youth who register. You can register to attend more than one camp. P��� 15 OPEN SOLAR MEETING BY QUARTZSITE BUSINESS CHAMBER MAY 23 The Quartzsite Business Chamber of Com- merce will hold a special general membership meeting on Monday, May 23rd at 6pm. Guest speaker, Andrea Bereznak, Community Development Consultant from Yuma’s APS of- fi ce, will be speaking about Solar Power and on the effects of several solar tower projects in our area. This special meeting will be held at Casa del Sol RV Park in the Recreation Hall and starts at 6pm, as Andrea will be driving up from Yuma. This meeting is open to the public, so anyone can attend to learn more about solar power and what advantages it will have for our communi- ty. Refreshments will be served.
