P��� 12 Silly Al’s Pizza hosts 6th graders from Phoenix QUARTZSITE, AZ -Forty five hungry 6th graders pulled into Silly Al’s Pizza on Wed. May 11th, on their way home from their yearly three-day trip to Fox Landing Camp on Catalina Island. Students are from Villa Montessori Charter School located in Phoenix, serving 4th-6th graders. The 5th graders came through town two weeks ago, and stopped at Silly Al’s Pizza. One of their teachers found Quartzsite’s favorite pizza restaurant on the Internet. They have vowed to return for ���.D�����M��������.��� M�� 18, 2011 the effi cient service and the friendly staff. The students and chaperones were served quickly and enjoyed their delicious pizza! QUARTZSITE, AZ - It’s official now…We are “THE HOME OF THE SCORPIONS.” Come check out the new mural on the front of the Quartzsite Elementary School Gym, located on W. Quail Trail St. Many people were involved in the weekend painting that took place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 13, 14, 15, 2011. Steve Bennett loaned the lift for the weekend job and without the help of PJ Bettmann, we couldn’t have pulled it off. Thank you Steve and PJ! We had a great time. As we all know, this is the season of the scorpions so we need to be aware of our surroundings. The sting of the scorpion is quite painful so please make this a safe summer for all.
