Men's Auxiliary Meeting is 1st Tuesday at 6:00 pm Ladies Auxiliary meeting is 1st Tuesday at 6:30 pm at Senior Center VFW Riders meeting is 2nd Saturday at 2:00 pm House Committee meeting is 1st Saturday following Comrade meeting By Kirshana Guy The Senior Graduation was held Saturday, May 17, at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony was open to anyone who wanted to come to support the seniors. The night was wonderful and fi lled with tears of joy for the students and their families. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the graduates of 2014 and their families. Class fi nals for Freshmen through Juniors were May 19-20, which were also early release days. The students had their very own awards ceremony during the second half of the day where the teachers were able to award students for their good behavior, excellent partici- pation in class, to student of the month awards. Students were en- couraged to return their books and clean out their lockers to help them keep track of their personal prop- erty as well as the school property. The fi rst day of school at Salome High School will be Wednesday, August 6, and the following day will be the Open House for parents to come and explore the campus and meet their children's teachers. Salome High updates The Fall Sports Banquet was held Tuesday, May 13, at 6 p.m. where students that played softball, base- ball, and track were awarded for their participation and their hard work. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our athletes. The awards that were given out at the banquet are listed below. The cost is $5. You can make reservations up to two weeks in advance. Available to our elderly, elderly disabled and dis- abled populations. Summer sched- ule is thru October 31st. Hours of operation are 8:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, exclud- ing holidays. Pickups will begin at 8:20am; scheduling may be done two weeks in advance. An adult must accompany riders under 10 years of age. There is limited oc- cupancy of 8 passengers depending on the size of the van available.
