He has served as Parks & Recreation Director for over 13 years and is married to Donna Yoe Holtzclaw. Charlie enjoys all sports, especially football. He is an avid Alabama Crimson Tide, Lenoir Rhyne Bears and Shelby High Golden Lions fan. He also enjoys spending time with family and pets Andy, Boo and R.J. UPCOMING EVENTS January 18th TOUGH MAN GOLF TOURNAMENT Captain's Choice Golf Tournament to be held at Royster Memorial Golf Course on Saturday, January 18th at 11:00AM. March 2nd National Cat Show CFA Licensed National Cat Show returns to Shelby City Park with over 150 cats competing. April 12th Shelby City Park Easter Egg Hunt Kids ages 2 thru 12 gather to hunt over 6,000 eggs. The Easter Bunny will be here with lots of fun and Carrousel & Rotary Train rides. Pictures with the Easter Bunny also available. Events get under way at 9:30AM in the Rotary Train Parking Lot. April 27th & 28th, 2013 Foothill's Merry Go Round Festival Two big days of fun for the entire family. Amazing carnival rides, children's entertainment, dancers, stilt walking, magic tricks, delicious festival food and much more. Also Saturday night one of Cleveland County's largest firework displays.
