We are excited for this improvement. We apologize for the dusty and wind tunnel look. Our do- nation receiving area will continue inside this porch area. For many years, we the Quartzsite Salvation Army has purchased all the food items for the Thanksgiv- ing dinner that Isaiah 58 provides to our community. This scrump- tious dinner is from 2:00 to 4:30, on Thanksgiving Day. Something new this year; Quartzsite Salvation Army, has reached out to our home-bound community folks. This year our TSA volunteers will on Thanksgiving Day, bring to these people a yummy, all cooked Thanks- giving dinner that will be ready to enjoy. We have coordinated with Miss Brenda, at Coyote Fresh Mar- ket, who is doing the cooking to- wards this outreach effort. Happy Thanksgiving to all!! We hope to have names on our An- gel Tree for our amazing Angel Tree shoppers the week of Thanksgiving, Tuesday, the 22nd, or earlier. Angel Tree applications have been extend- ed through November 18th. Please call for a phone interview to register as soon as possible. THANKS! The second Christmas event for children of Quartzsite and the sur- rounding area, is our Annual Santa Event. This year it will be held on Friday, December 23rd, 9:00AM to 1:00PM. See attached flyer. Park as directed by local QPD officers. This event is held outside on the front ce- ment area at the front of our store. Pictures with Santa and gift choos- ing by the children with assistance with our Santa elves. We extend a huge thank you to the local Broth- erhood of Rogue Motorcycle Group for their toy drive effort. Come to TSA on December 20th at 2:00 and see this awesome and loud- with the many motorcycle members bring- ing these presents to us. This an- nual toy box arrival really sets the spirit of Christmas in our hearts. Come and see. Have you ever thought of becom- ing a volunteer bell ringer? You can select your day, time, and where you want to ring in town. Please know that 100% of funds collected through this campaign stay in our local community. There is a simple volunteer application to complete. Stop in and see me. Our Red Kettles will be out the day after Thanksgiv- ing around Quartzsite Please understand that our build- ing has no windows, no air exchange ventilation, our aisles are tight, and we have many senior volunteers with health concerns, we will con- tinue to require a face covering, for both us and our amazing shoppers. We will follow the local health de- partment recommendation; "when indoors wear a mask". We appreci- ate your understanding.
