33 NWA COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREVIEW | 8.28.2022 big-play receiver who 38 catches for 509 yards and 9 touchdowns last season. The defense received a boost with the addition of senior safety Joe Foucha and nickel back Greg Brooks, who both transferred after being starters at Arkansas. Both are Louisiana natives. Kelly, who had 113- 39 record in 12 seasons at Notre Dame, was a surprise hire for the Tigers, but he obviously believes his chances of winning a national championship are better in Baton Rouge than they were in South Bend. He's looking to become the fourth LSU coach to win a national title since 2003 along with Nick Saban, Les Miles and Ed Orgeron. Notre Dame's last national title was in 1988 under Lou Holtz.
