Hosted by "Project Runway's" Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, "Making the Cut" takes reality fashion competitions to the next level as 10 entrepre- neurs and designers — all of whom have previously estab- lished small businesses — prove their design and branding chops through a series of challenges to take their brands to the next lev- el. At the end of the season, the most successful contestant wins a $1-million prize and the oppor- tunity to create an exclusive co- brand with Amazon Fashion. WHAT'S NEW ON PARAMOUNT+ "Orphan: First Kill" (2022) The terrifying saga of Russian orphan Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman, "The Novice," 2021) continues in the new prequel to the 2009 horror film "Orphan," titled "Orphan: First Kill," when in streams Friday, Aug. 19, on Paramount+. The film is also available for purchase via out- side services. Diving into the or- phan's dark and mysterious his- tory, "First Kill" follows Esther as she escapes from a psychiat- ric facility in Estonia and makes her way to America by posing as the missing child of a wealthy family, but an unexpected wrench in her plans pits Esther against a mother who will do anything to protect her family. Directed by William Brent Bell ("Stay Alive," 2006), "Orphan: First Kill" features a screenplay by David Coggeshall ("The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia," 2013) with a story by David Leslie Johnson- McGoldrick ("The Walking Dead") and Alex Mace ("Or- phan," 2009).
