JaNuaRY 2-8, 2022 Steaks and sports T he All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater opened its doors at their flagship store on November 25, 2003 in Edgewater, Maryland. Its mission was simple: to offer a family–friendly casual dining steakhouse providing good-old fashioned, friendly service, while serving high-quality food, featuring, among other things, delicious steaks, and all of this, in a fun, energetic, sports-themed atmosphere. "The concept was established approximately 20 years ago in Maryland by George Jones and Brock Anderson," said Mark Bazyk, franchise owner of the All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater Springdale location. "It features aged steaks hand cut in house by our butchers, and made from scratch rolls, soups, and pastas, specialty salads, drinks and desserts." When you enter the restaurant, you immediately see where the magic happens. "Our mesquite grill is on display as you walk in the door," said Laura Bazyk. "Some of our favorite menu items are the Filet with House Topping, Cowboy Ribeye, Fish and Chips, Crab Dip, Chesapeake Wings & Salmon Salad." All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater steaks are wet-aged on average 45 to 70 days, cut and then dry-aged for another 5 to 7 days. This extensive aging process is what separates this eatery from the competition. All dishes are made from scratch using the best ingredients. It's the little details that keep the guests returning, from grilling a lemon to be squeezed on a fresh grilled fish, to making the brownies for their signature dessert, the Brownie Sundae. Mark and Laura Bazyk opened the All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater in Springdale on October 15 of this 2021, but they are no strangers to the restaurant business. "We have owned restaurants since 1987," Laura said. "We felt Springdale residents and Northwest Arkansas would appreciate having a place to call their own. A place they could be proud to bring their visiting friends and families."
