T5 Sunday Star Wars: The Force Awakens TBS 9:45 a.m. Decades after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, a lonesome desert dweller called Rey (Dai- sy Ridley) and Finn (John Boye- ga), a goofy Stormtrooper de- serter, join forces with old he- roes to battle the First Order in the first film of this sequel tril- ogy. Claws TNT 8 p.m. In this new series' premiere ep- isode, Floridian Desna (Niecy Nash) decides to return to her roots and launch a business from a nail salon in Manatee County. Now that the casino is gone, she needs a place to con- duct her shady dealings and clean some cash. Monday Bob's Burgers TBS 4:30 p.m. Hoping to spread a little cheer around the neighborhood, Lin- da decides to host a party at the restaurant in this special holi- day double-episode. However, Linda's holiday spirit is dashed when she realizes her prized ornaments have been stolen. The Family Chantel TLC 7 p.m. Chantel, Pedro and their fami- lies are back in another new ep- isode of this "90 Day" spinoff. Pedro meets his half-brothers for the first time and they come with some shocking informa- tion. Meanwhile, a stubborn fight hurts Chantel and Pedro's relationship. Tuesday Reindeer Games SHOW 7:15 p.m. In this vaguely Christmas- themed action film, an ex-con- vict assumes his old cell mate's identity to meet his gorgeous girlfriend, not knowing the trouble he is getting himself into by doing so. Ben Affleck, Charlize Theron and Gary Si- nise star. A Saturday Night Live Christmas Special (51) KNWA 8 p.m. "SNL" gives the gift of laughter in this rebroadcast holiday spe- cial - just don't open it if it comes from guest star Justin Timberlake. The sketch show's most iconic Christmas songs and skits are featured in a hilar- ious two-hour celebration. Wednesday The Masked Singer (24) KFTA 7 p.m. The stars get festive in this new extra-special Christmas perfor- mance extravaganza. Some of the series' favorite performers return to put on new holiday performances, complete with new bloopers, behind-the- scenes footage and more. Ken Jeong hosts. Live in Front of a Studio Audience (29) KHOG (40) KHBS 7 p.m. Jimmy Kimmel hosts this spe- cial tribute to classic television sitcoms, featuring "The Facts of Life" and "Diff 'rent Strokes." Kerry Washington, Will Ferrell and Justin Theroux are among the celebrity guests helping to bring these classics back to life. Thursday Jack Frost AMC Noon Michael Keaton stars as Jack Frost in this family Christmas film, about a musician who turns into a snowman after he is killed in a car accident. Now, he has one more chance to make things right with his son before he begins to melt away forever. A Very Boy Band Holiday (29) KHOG (40) KHBS 8 p.m. Members of boy bands past and present gather to perform in a rebroadcast of this year's fes- tive musical celebration. Sing- ing their favorite holiday songs and biggest yuletide hits, fea- tured acts in- clude 'Nsync, 98 Degrees, Boyz II Men and more. Friday Scrooged AMC 1 p.m. Comedy legend Bill Murray stars in this offbeat retelling of Charles Dickens' classic story, "A Christmas Carol." Frank Cross (Murray), a mean, embit- tered TV network executive is visited by ghosts on Christmas Eve, revealing to him the error of his ways. A Holly Dolly Christmas (5) KFSM 7 p.m. Country music superstar Dolly Parton shares her Christmas spirit with viewers in this holi- day special. From powerful hymns to light-hearted modern carols, Dolly brings holiday joy and cheer through the power of song and her personal Christ- mas stories. Saturday Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration (29) KHOG (40) KHBS 9 a.m. This annual holiday family cel- ebration airs Christmas morn- ing and features the Christmas Day Parade down Main Street U.S.A., with Disney's favorite characters and floats. The spe- cial also includes heartwarm- ing stories and magical celebri- ty performances. The Polar Express AMC 11:30 a.m. When a little boy starts to doubt that Santa exists, he is whisked away to the North Pole aboard a magical train. Based on Chris Van Allsburg's 1985 children's book of the same name, this computer-animated film features Tom Hanks in six different roles. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas (51) KNWA 7 p.m. In this 1966 animated special narrated by Boris Karloff, the Grin- ch has grown sick and tired of the overly jolly Whos and their abundant love of Christmas, so he de- scends from Mount Crumpit to steal their cheer away. The live-ac- tion version airs next. BEST BETS (29) KHOG (40) KHBS 6 p.m. The Sound of Music Julie Andrews stars as Maria, a young woman who leaves a convent to become a governess in the musical classic "The Sound of Music," airing Sunday, Dec. 19, on ABC. The film, which is based on the iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein stage musical, also stars Christopher Plummer as widowed dad Capt.
