The Polar Express AMC 11:30 a.m. When a little boy starts to doubt that Santa exists, he is whisked away to the North Pole aboard a magical train. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas (51) KNWA 7 p.m. In this 1966 animated special narrated by Boris Karloff, the Grin- ch has grown sick and tired of the overly jolly Whos and their abundant love of Christmas, so he de- scends from Mount Crumpit to steal their cheer away. The live-ac- tion version airs next. BEST BETS (29) KHOG (40) KHBS 6 p.m. The Sound of Music Julie Andrews stars as Maria, a young woman who leaves a convent to become a governess in the musical classic "The Sound of Music," airing Sunday, Dec. 19, on ABC. The film, which is based on the iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein stage musical, also stars Christopher Plummer as widowed dad Capt.
