What a privilege! We loved living in the "first circle." Everyone visiting campus knew of the Round House. ~ Susan Foster Haigler '60 • How we all helped each other, all the time, with everything, and what a good time we had in the process; we laughed all the time. ~ Margaret Fisher Miller '60 • Round House, hHousemother Mrs. Davis, meals, and the great location. ~ Jeannene Hurt Mullins '62 • Housemother Georgie Davis from Greenwood, Miss.; was a wonderful woman. ~ Lee Bender '63 • Hanging out on the roof, preparing for the day together. The sleeping porch fans were so smoothing back then! ~ Sue Marie Shealy Coe '74 • When I was president, my chaplain and VP went to the Phi Gam house while they were having a Christmas party downstairs and took their Christmas tree, which was on the second-story balcony, and brought it to our house and put it up and decorated it. The Phi Gams never figured out where their tree went, but "ours" was beautiful! ~ Jane King Jameson '79 • Late-night chat sessions. Whether it was with my roomie, Ashley Colburn West '14, or with sisters in the TV room, there was always a listening ear. ~ Taylor Hardy '14 What keeps you connected to Tri Delta as an alumna? • Friendships. ~ Mary "Cam" Roberts Saunders '55 • My daughter was a ΔΔΔ and I love joining her for ΔΔΔ functions. My mother and grandmother were also Tri Delts. ~ Florence "Bitsy" Douglass Williams '57 • Meeting several times a year in a member's home. Celebrating Founders' Day as each member gave Christmas gifts to local charities. We still "love one another." ~ Susan Foster Haigler '60 • Your newsletter.
