Delta Mu Needs Your Recruitment Recommenda ons! A lumnae will be welcome at the Tri Delta House again before we know it, and when that happens, we want you coming home to a full house! If you want to help, consider this: do you know an incoming freshman who's interested in Greek life? Tell Tri Delta about them! Here's how: Visit tridelta.org, and create a profile if you haven't already done so. Once logged into your profile, click on "Write a Reference" at the top of the page. Fill out the form, then click "Submit." If you have any questions, please call the Tri Delta Executive Office at (817) 633-8001. Thank you for helping our sisterhood grow! BETTER DAYS ARE AHEAD Delta Mu Looks Forward to the Fall H ello, everyone! Wow, what a year we have had. Thanks to our fabulous house director, Jayne Fisher, and all of our staff, Delta Mu has followed all safety protocols from the state of Alabama, Tri Delta National, and the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at the University of Alabama. This has been a tall order. Furniture has been removed from some rooms, dining tables have been removed from the dining room and added to common rooms, fabrics have been cleaned daily, and social distancing requirements have been implemented throughout the Tri Delta House. The members understand how important these precautions are and have adapted well. Hopefully, all students will take advantage of the vaccine as it becomes available on campus, and we can return to some form of normal—at least by the start of the school year in August. The House Corporation board meetings have been held via Zoom, and I anticipate this will continue until the fall. We are working on plans to renovate the basement to accommodate additional space for members to study and meet. The U of A has postponed all renovation requests through 2021, so we will resubmit for summer 2022. We hope that we can have open houses and lunch for home football games next fall, but we will have to wait to see if that is okay. We will send our annual postcard with dates in late summer if we can do so. As always, we are looking for alumnae willing to serve on our House Corporation board; please contact me if you are interested.
