featured dining guide story Advertorial Feature by RANDy RICE | NORTHWEST ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE 42 What's up! september 20-26, 2020 Café USA: fresh, hearty, all-American food C afé USA fresh, hearty all-American food for breakfast, lunch and dinner Open for only a year in Northwest Arkansas, Café USA has already racked up 5-star reviews and many return patrons. Here is just a sample of the buzz on Yelp: "This place is awesome. Exactly what Bentonville needed. It has that classic diner feel with great friendly service. I got the breakfast burger, which I suggested they make available all day because it was fantastic! I highly recommend!" "The food and service were absolutely amazing! We live in Fayetteville and have made trips several trips back just to eat here." "Great homestyle meals, large portions, very reasonable prices (especially for the portion sizes), daily specials, prompt service, friendly service." If you haven't had the chance to stop by Café USA yet, you really need to check out one of the tastiest additions to the ever-growing number of quality restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. Why has Café USA become so popular so fast? It all starts with their basic philosophy: a belief in the old, traditional American way of preparing the food and menus. The portions are big and the ingredients are fresh. Everything is cooked to order. Nothing is precooked. A look at their menu illustrates how creative they get working within their down-home, traditional framework. For breakfast they offer a dish called Meat Lovers Country Debris, which offers two open-face biscuits topped with home fries or hash browns, covered with gravy, chopped bacon, and sausage and then topped with two eggs any style with three silver dollar cakes on the side. A favorite to get your morning off to a hearty start is Café USA's Hash Brown Bowl which includes corned beef or ground turkey, sautéed with hash browns or home fries, topped with jalapeños, cheese, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and two eggs any style and, of course, some silver dollar cakes. And you can't go wrong with Grand Old Faithful: golden hash browns topped with cheese, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, diced ham, bacon and sausage. Served with two eggs any style. Moving on to lunch, the wholesome food and big portions continue. Their burgers are half a pound of fresh Angus beef. Their steaks are choice Sirloin cuts and, again, all fresh and prepared to order. Traditional meat loaf, pork tenderloin and original recipe soups with a different recipe featured every day continue to flesh out the menu. Check out the Davy Crockett Patty Melt which serves up a half-pound patty with sautéed onions and two slices of Swiss cheese on grilled rye or the Texas Red Burger offering up two quarter-pound patties served open face on Texas toast covered with chili, cheddar cheese and onions. Maybe you are in the mood for The Pride of Philadelphia, which offers your choice of Philly steak or chicken with melted mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and mayo. America's Best Club is a delicious version of an old favorite with turkey, ham, bacon, American and Swiss cheese piled high on grilled potato bread with lettuce, tomato and mayo. And finally, this being an election year, you might want to check out the First Lady: smoked turkey, avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo on grilled oat nut bread. Or the Presidential Favorite, a scrumptious combination of grilled chicken with bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo served on grilled bun. They are all as delicious as they are inventive.
