Quartzsite, AZ- The folks at Bad River Pack, of Fort Pierre, South Dakota, wondered the same thing. For the past three years vendors Donald Ward and his wife, have provided a US/Canadian map for visitors to mark their home location using color ink pens. Their spacious vendor tent is located on the front row at Tyson Wells Center on Kuehn Rd. with great foot traffic, so they asked their customers to "Mark the Spot!" Black dots were from those folks visiting in December; Yellow was during January; and Green was thru midFebruary. This year, all those January yellow dots grew into a large mass covering all of California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and much of Nevada, Idaho, Utah and Colorado. A large number of dots show folks visiting from the northern states of Montana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois. It appears this year folks from every state in the country visited the Bad River Pack jerky booth right here in Quartzsite. ates Gift Certific Available The Canadian portion of the map shows the majority of Canadian visitors come from the western providences of Alberta, British Columbia and Sasketchewan. The majority of Candians showed up early in the season. Among foreign visitors, the map shows folks visited from Germany, Japan, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Norway, France, Austria and Egypt. Donald said, "business was great this year. I think the number of visitors was up from last year, but folks from nearby states were not staying as long. We're definately getting more people from southern California visiting, but just a few days; maybe a week or two." The Wards also provided Quartzsite administration copies of the maps from the past three years for their records. The store carries delicious jerky, easy to chew pemican, fresh cheese, South Dakota treats and much more. Be sure to stop by and thank the Wards for their research project and enjoy tasting samples of their pemican. Reflexology Do you have Neuropathy, Diabetes, Poor Circulation, or Just Aches & Pains?
