Running back The Panthers return all-state senior running back Kaiden Thrailkill (5-9, 195), who has improved his physical condition heading into 2018. "He has had a great summer," Craig said of Thrailkill. "He's probably in the best shape of his life. He's worked extremely hard this summer. He's a big leader on our football team." Thrailkill had 197 carries for 864 yards (4.4 yards per carry) and scored nine touchdowns. He also caught 17 passes for 249 yards and three touch- downs. The Panthers are looking for another big year out of the senior back. "Everybody looks to him to be the guy," Craig said. "I just love his work ethic and his enthusiasm and what he brings to the table every day. He's got great game speed. Once he sees what he sees, he definitely has the ability to take it to the house." Senior Gustavo Fuentes (5-3, 128) gives the Panthers a change of pace at running back. "He's got some shiftiness to him," Craig said. "He showed signs in the spring of big play ability." Sophomore Camden Collins (6-0, 170) also could see some carries. "There's a big upside to (Collins)," Craig said.
