The Return to 3000 University Avenue Our Housing Plan W e have been working with Icon Architects (Grand Forks, ND) and Cunningham + Associates (Columbia, MO) to formulate a plan for a new home for the men of Delta Nu. The plan takes into consideration the need to provide a competitive facility that is built, and maintained, to last. The core principles of our plan are as follows: 1. It is the intention of the alumni leadership to complete the project free of debt. 2. We committed to rebuilding the house at 3000 University Avenue. 3. We plan to set the standard for Greek housing on campus and will have a structure that complements the architecture of UND. 4. We will employ a property manager as well as a live-in graduate student to ensure the long-term viability of the facility. REPURCHASING 3000 UNIVERSITY AVENUE We anticipate the purchase of the lot by the end of 2019. Alumni leaders have been in discussion with Foundation CEO DeAnna Carlson-Zink regarding terms and conditions of the repurchase. In addition to the original purchase cost, Delta Nu must also pay the annual taxes and any other costs to maintain the property since 2015.
