Our Vision of a Stronger Delta Nu I f ATW is to continue to succeed and grow at the University of North Dakota, we must act now to establish the necessary components to once more house the chapter and re-engage our alumni to support chapter initiatives. It will take the cooperation of both alumni and undergraduate members to achieve our ambitious goals. ATW is the only fraternity at UND without a chapter house and this creates a significant disadvantage in recruitment and building brotherhood. Our undergraduate brothers encounter unique hurdles when planning regular chapter events like weekly meetings, brotherhood events, study tables, and ritual ceremonies, including initiation. We are losing top-tier men to other fraternities that provide housing for their members. A new home for ATΩ will help provide our undergraduate brothers with an identity. Alumni are also adversely impacted by ATW not having a house. We, too, have lost connection to ATW from the loss of the house. Those of us who return to campus do not have a destination to gather with our peers, host reunions or attend alumni functions. This facility will help create more opportunities to host events for alumni throughout the year. A new home for ATΩ will provide you with a chance to reconnect with your brothers. Finally, alumni and undergraduate members do not have the opportunity to connect and learn from each other. The traditions of Delta Nu cannot continue without finding a way to bring our brotherhood together. A new home for ATΩ will renew the relationship between alumni and undergraduate members. In 2007, shortly after the chapter closed, alumni leaders chose to demolish the house due to the poor condition of the facility and no suitable options for tenants. A group of Delta Nu alumni formed the Delta Nu Land Investor Group LLC to pay the property insurance and maintain the land. The Delta Nu Land Investor Group LLC was dissolved in 2015 after negotiating the temporary sale of the land to the UND Foundation, with the option to repurchase within seven years of the sale. If we are unable to buy the property back by 2022 we will forfeit it back to the UND Foundation. 3000 University Avenue ATΩ is the only fraternity at UND without a chapter house and this creates a significant disadvantage in recruitment and building brotherhood.
