An artist, en- gineer and World War II veteran, he was born and raised in Manhattan, spent summers in Nova Scotia and later lived in Hurley, New York. Arthur was an active benefactor of the arts, nature pres- ervation and civil liberties. He had an extraordi- nary presence and will be missed. He is survived by his son, Philip Weyhe, and daughter-in-law, Georgina; daughter, Abby Weyhe Anderson, and son-in-law, Gary; grandchildren, Philip Weyhe Jr., Brendan Weyhe and Rachael Weyhe; niece, Deborah Kiley, and her sons, Dennis and Owen. Mason E. Warner '40 (A568), 99, of Hillside Avenue, Johnstown, N.Y., passed on to Chapter Eternal September 29, 2015, at the Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville, N.Y. He was em- ployed at General Electric Works accounting de- partment, leaving in 1945 to join St. omas Inc., and retiring in 1986 as vice president in charge of purchasing. He was a member of the Eccentric Club, life member of Concordia Club and the former Gloversville Elks Club. He was a volun- teer delivering Meals for Seniors for 10 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking, especially ALPHABET SOUP Noah B. Mass '89 (A1269) lives in Ypsilanti, Mich., with his wife of 25 years, Kimberly. To- gether they have one son, Holden, who is enter- ing his junior year at Gettysburg College. Noah is an engineering manager at Ford Motor Com- pany. He obtained an MBA from the University of Michigan in 1996. He is an active member of the Patient Advisory Executive Board at the Uni- versity of Michigan Health System and supports a number of additional charitable efforts. With his 50th birthday later this year, he is now train- ing for the Detroit Half Marathon. Dad is to the far le with the C on his jersey. It wasn't until my son, Cam, started playing hockey that we began hearing about Dad's hockey days. My son played hockey starting at age 4 through high school. Dad loved reminiscing about his RPI hockey days with my son, and Cam loved listening to them! Mason is survived by his wife, Maryland Vrooman Warner, whom he married July 12, 1986; a daughter, Sharon (friend Ron); son, Mark (Cathy); granddaughter, Jennifer Verra (Jeff ); grandsons, Robert Clar- kin (Erika), Todd (Rebecca) and Chad Clarkin, Colin, Shawn and Ryan Warner; as well as four great-grandchildren and his stepdaughter, Patri- cia Calhoun (James). He was predeceased by his former wife, Virginia Eutemark Warner; a broth- er, Donald Warner; a son, Mason J. Warner; and daughters, Margaret Clarkin and Kathleen Weil. Robert C. Brown '42 (A606), age 94, passed on to Chapter Eternal March 15, 2015, in the Palatine Nursing Home, Palatine Bridge. He joined his fa- ther, George, and uncle Giles at Brown Brothers Chevrolet and Oldsmobile in Herkimer. He was married to Barbara Mary Folts for 55 years until her passing in 2006. Bob served as a Village Trust- ee for the Village of Herkimer and president of the Herkimer Kiwanis Club. With the opening of the New York State ruway, Bob would frequently go out in snow storms with a tow truck to rescue stranded motorists. Following his retirement, he taught himself about computers and studied the selling of real estate. He also loved fishing and boating and taught boater safety in Richfield Springs. Later, he developed an interest in geneal- ogy and taught classes for senior citizens. Surviv- ing are two daughters, Susan Waner and Cynthia J. Cheney; one son, Charles; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a nephew, Robert Bloomfield; three nieces, Sita Sarna, Sareen Sarna and Shiva Sarna; and several cousins. Russell L. Kranzfelder '47 (A630, O409), 93, of Scott- sdale, Ariz., passed on to Chapter Eternal on Octo- ber 6, 2017. He worked for Texas Eastern and later for the Bechtel Corporation, building pipelines in Eu- rope and North Africa. He moved to Scottsdale in 1969 and was owner of the Sir Lancelot Apartments for 30 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Ameri- can Legion Post #44, e Breakfast Club, Scott- sdale Presbyterian Church, the In-Joy Group at AZ Community Church in Tempe and a former member of Al-Anon. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; his daughter, Lisa Fentnor; grand- daughters Kaylee Arteaga and Landa Fisher; sis- ters Sabra Driscoll and Zoe Folk; and brother Ed Kranzfelder; many nieces and nephews; an ad- opted son, Jim Kranzfelder; two stepdaughters, Lori Bostick and Jill Schultz; stepgrandchildren Jennifer Lefevre, Joel Bostick, and Jaime Jones; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
