Nickerson '45 (A634), 93, of Edgewood, passed on to Chapter Eternal on December 9, 2015. Richard worked for DuPont for 35 years before retiring in 1982. Richard was known for his love of boats and his talent as a yachtsman. He loved racing sail- boats and was on many committees running local races and some major international sailboat races sponsored by Rolex. He was a member of the Edgewood Yacht Club, the St. omas Yacht Club, Off Soundings, Twenty Hundred Club and the NBYA. Richard is survived by his daughter, Tracy J. Nickerson, and brother, Russell J. Nickerson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Elisa- beth, son Peter W. Nickerson and brother Robert B. Nickerson. Benjamin T. Marshall '47 (A635), 94, passed on to Chapter Eternal September 5, 2017, at Brooksby Village, Peabody, Mass. Ben lived in Westfield, Morristown and Brookside, N.J., as well as West Germany, the Netherlands and England. He retired from ExxonMobil aer 42 years, living in Eastham, Mass., for 18 years before moving to Peabody. Ben loved woodworking, genealogy, gardening, painting, and reading the Bible. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Adele Allen (1925-2008). He is sur- vived by four children: Allen B. and Margaret (Stewart) Marshall, Katherine M. and Dylan Coppell, Steven T. and Pamela (Scotti) Marshall, and Kristi A. Marshall and David G. Parker, and seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
