"Since our hospital's very beginning, we have been blessed with the support of our greater Thumb Area communities sharing in our pursuit to remain an independently owned, local health care system that our patients can rely on for their health care services. A lot of what we do is made possible thanks to our dedicated volunteers, staff and supporters. Serving as the Foundation manager for these last few years, I've been in awe of what our Development Council has accomplished, the unwavering support of our volunteers, the growing support of our hospice program and our community outreach initiatives. In these challenging times in health care, you are our steadying force, and we are grateful for our partnership with you." –Sara Redman, Foundation & Marketing Manager People Helping People MRH FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL The following fundraising events were conducted by our MRH Foundation Development Council volunteers in 2017: Driving for Health Golf Event $26,877 to benefit the acute care/swing bed unit renovation project.
