Awards, and Honors
T
heta Gamma continues to excel on campus through academic
achievement, campus leadership, outstanding recruitment, and
philanthropic impact.
• University of Oklahoma President's Trophy winner
o Theta Gamma has won this prestigious award six times, more
times than any chapter on campus.
• 2018 Sarah Ida Shaw winner – Julie Confer
o Delta Delta Delta highest undergraduate award, which honors one
undergraduate woman's accomplishments and diversity in
campus activities.
• Theta Gamma continues to place in the top five GPA on campus.

• Seventy members were recognized on the 2017-18 President's Honor
Roll and 100 members were named to the 2017-18 Dean's Honor Roll.
• Theta Gamma hosts several philanthropy events to support St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital.
o Delta House of Pancakes (DHOP) raised over $6,000 in
October 2017.
o #15KinADay was a campaign to raise $15,000 in 24 hours for
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Theta Gamma far exceeded
the $15,000 goal and was able to raise $38,750 in 24 hours!
o Coffee House and Desserts with Sigma Phi Epsilon raised over
$15,000 in 2018.
o Sisters host Art with a Heart with local alumnae to raise money for
area children's cancer charities.
o Theta Gamma members completed 4,349 total service hours
in 2017.
