Our Plan
for the
Future of Nu
T
he Nu alumnae and undergraduate
leadership have developed a
comprehensive plan to address the long-term
viability of the Chi Omega experience on
the University of Wisconsin campus. Over
the past two years, the house corporation
has addressed the immediate needs of our
112-year-old chapter house by replacing
the boiler, repairing the back staircase,
updating controls on the radiators, and
adding air conditioning units to all rooms.
Additionally, aesthetic and technological
updates to the library, chapter study room,
and living room (which now serves as the
chapter room) were made. Even with those
improvements and repairs, our home still
needs attention.
Through careful study, assessment, and
planning, it has been determined that updates
and maintenance to the chapter house are
necessary, and we must invest in our home to
meet the needs of today's students. Building
plans have been submitted and approved by
the City of Madison building department and
have passed the historical review.
