MO ALPHA PHI M I S S O U R I A L P H A C H A P T E R O F P H I D E L T A T H E T A THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI FALL 2017 The CAPITAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTES TO FINANCIAL HEALTH OF MISSOURI ALPHA R enovations are complete and the chapter house is nearly full. Five years of planning, fundraising, and construction have paid off and the Missouri Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta is stronger than ever. Thanks to the more than 22 percent of our alumni who pledged $1.45 million for the renovation project, our chapter is now one of the top fraternal organizations on campus and has some of the best facilities. Your support has enabled us to gain a competitive advantage over other fraternities in regards to chapter facilities and recruitment. To date, we have received pledges from 298 supportive alumni with an average gift of $4,900 and a median of $1,000. This support has been the driving force behind establishing our foothold on campus. Despite our achievements, we still have bills to pay and debt to service. Our loan for improvements and the payoff of debt prior to renovations is slightly over $3.5 million. We have asked for a lot from our alumni over the past three years, but your contributions really do make a tremendous difference for MO Alpha.
