We have been busy recruiting a phenomenal fall pledge class, working on Homecoming and Freshman Follies, and planning a new annual philanthropy event. We are dedicated to bettering ourselves and our community by creating leaders among men. Preparation for Brotherhood Our Chapter was fortunate enough to initiate five new brothers into our brotherhood who we feel exemplify the Jordan Standard daily to the world. Their initiation was guided by Magister Aaron McMillen '19, who has been teaching the initiates the values of our Fraternity through Sigma Chi's newly implemented Preparation for Brotherhood program, which has proven to be a great success. With a successful summer of recruitment, we have signed 33 bright young men with different skill sets, talents, and convictions. Blue Peterson Significant Chapter This summer, Gamma Delta sent Aaron McMillen '19 to Providence, Rhode Island, for Grand Chapter to welcome our new Grand Executive Committee and represent our Chapter in the highest manner. Our executive team traveled to Bowling Green, Ohio, to attend the annual Balfour Leadership Workshop, where we were able to fine-tune our strategic plan for the upcoming year and were awarded a Blue Peterson Significant Chapter award for the fifth year in a row, highlighting the success of our prestigious Chapter. We were also honored with a Gold Thomas Cowan Bell award for the generous contributions made by our alumni. Academics and Peer Tutoring Active members worked meticulously this year to uphold our Fraternity's values of learning by achieving a 3.19 overall GPA, placing us within the top 10 of Oklahoma State University's Interfraternity Council chapters. We started a tutoring program led by Scholarship Chairman Will Henderson '20, which awards scholarships to our undergraduate who provide tutoring to brothers and incoming members.
