Delta Tau Delta Oklahoma State University
Our Need
T
he Delta Tau Delta experience is more than the bricks and
mortar of the Shelter, but the facility is important and sig-
nificant to chapter life, as well as a proud symbol of our
shared values, storied history, and future aspirations.
Modernization
While our house has served Delta Chi well for several decades,
it was not built for the modern student who lives, socializes,
and studies very differently. If our chapter is going to remain
strong in academics, leadership, and brotherhood, our house
must be reflective of and conducive to these values. Our Goal:
A Shelter designed for the current—and future—young men of
Delta Tau Delta.
Competition
Oklahoma State's Greek system has been traditionally one of
the strongest in the country. Today, it is more competitive than
ever. Many chapters have made substantial capital improvements.
FarmHouse, Pike, AGR, Sigma Chi, and Fiji are just a few of the
chapters that have made significant facility upgrades recently—
and many more are planning such enhancements. Our Goal: Po-
sition Delta Tau Delta to consistently be a premier Greek organi-
zation at OSU.
Value
Today, students and their parents expect more in return for their
housing dollars. University living units now offer standard con-
veniences, such as expanded cable television, high-speed internet
access, and central air, as well as luxury options like individual
kitchens, two-person bathrooms, and cleaning services. Apart-
ment complexes off campus offer personal space, privacy, parking,
and luxury amenities. Our Goal: Offer a facility that attracts and
retains the best and brightest.
