2 Delta Tau Delta Oklahoma State University Our Chapter Today "D elta Chi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta continues to strive to live a life of excellence. is past spring semester, we placed second on campus in terms of overall house GPA out of the 24 IFC recognized houses on campus. We continue to hit the recruitment game hard as we have signed 41 new members this past summer. We will continue to get better each and every day as we strive to bring back home the Hugh Shields Award for Chapter Excellence." – Chapter President Brad Cohlmia Chapter Statistics Academics • Ranked fourth (of 24 IFC chapters) in fall 2016; eight brothers with a 4.0 GPA • Ranked second (of 24 IFC chapters) in spring 2017; 11 brothers with a 4.0 GPA Community Service • Delta Chi requires each brother to complete 25 hours of community service per year. • Last spring, Delta Chi donated $1,900 to the Humane Society of Stillwater with our philanthropy event, Delt Dogs. • Each fall semester, Delta Chi hosts our annual Homecoming Carnival. Proceeds are donated to our national philanthropy, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Membership • Total membership is 102 (41 new members; 61 initiates) Leadership on Campus • Delta Chi requires all members and new members to be a part of a campus organization at OSU. • Austin Poll is president of the Sports Media Club. • Neil Allen is the head director of Into the Streets and an ambassador for the Spears School of Business. • Chaz Robinson was a Summer Orientation Leader for incoming freshmen, as well as a counselor for Camp Cowboy. • Sam Lassiter was a counselor for Camp Cowboy. • Chris Vasquez is a peer advisor for the Study Abroad Office. • Ian Morris is a student advocate and team lead for the Eastin Center for Career Readiness. National Awards • Zane Wilson was awarded the Outstanding Chapter President Award for the Western Plains Division in February for his service as chapter president from the spring of 2016 to the fall of 2016. • Rick Morris was awarded the Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award for the Western Plains Division in February for his service as chapter advisor.
