The La Paz County Democratic Committee held their intial organi- zational meeting in Parker on June 22nd, 2017. The next meeting will be held in Quartzsite on Thursday, July 27th at Mountain Quail Cafe starting at 5:30 pm. This meeting will deal with setting up the bylaws, vision and mission statements. On June 22, members voted to ap- point Monica Timberlake as Chair, Ben Johnson as Vice Chair, Frances Rudisill as Treasurer. Members of Mohave Co. Democratic Committee also attended to support the new or- ganization. "We're seeking participation from fellow Democrats to lend support and ideas for the upcoming local, state and national elections and is- sues," stated Timberlake. The meeting is open to all Demo- crats or those wishing to learn more about the Democratic Party.
