T he Think Back. Think Big. Think Beta. campaign for Gamma Lambda has made excellent strides over the last few months. We are pleased to share that we have raised more than $2.56 million toward our campaign goal of $4 million. From our dedicated undergraduates making a commitment to our class leaders engaging in a grassroots effort to encourage broad-based support from brothers of their era, we are forever grateful to each and every one of you. Despite all of the good a new facility will make, this campaign is about more than just cosmetics. At the core of this project is the hope of strengthening the fraternity and creating long-lasting opportunities for future brothers by providing a safe physical structure. Many alumni have already joined us on the journey and our undergraduate brothers are doing their part by working diligently to earn accolades on campus, reconnect with alumni, and recruit new men to join our brotherhood. I know that many of you plan on giving but for one reason or another have held off. Brothers, the time to act is now. We need your signed pledge to make our project plans a reality. To date, 123 individuals have made gifts and pledges of more than $2.56 million. While this certainly is a great number by itself, we have to believe we can do much better given that we have over 1,300 active, living alumni. We are asking every brother to make a pledge or contribution, no matter the size. You can spread your gift of $2,500, $5,000, or more over five years, making it a manageable annual or monthly payment. Remember all donors who contribute more than $2,500 will be listed on a donor wall in the chapter house. Please use the enclosed form to make your one-time gift or pledge today. We understand that there are many worthy causes deserving of your attention. We kindly ask each and every brother to do what he can for the chapter now and make a meaningful gift, in its hour of greatest need. If you have not pledged your support, please take a moment and ask yourself, "What would my life be like if I never pledged Gamma Lambda?" As Beta men, we know our obligation. Now is the time we write a new page in our fraternity's powerful history, together. Thank you for your consideration. Yours in _kai_, Michael P.
