Rachele and Cindy Kelley Colorado River Indian Tribes is seeking volunteers to help plan their 7th Annual Earth Day Celebration. "Water is Life" is the theme for the event planned for April 22, 10am- 1pm at 'Ahakhav Tribal Preserve, Mohave Rd & Rodeo Rd. The next planning meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12th at 11am. Earth Day volunteers wanted A group of car enthusiasts got to- gether and arranged for a bi-week- ly Cruise-In to be held Saturday in the parking lot of Carl's Jr. in Quartzsite. The group moved re- cently from their gathering at the VFW Post. The next Cruise In will be held Saturday, April 8th. This event is free for the classic car and hot-rod owners as well as the visitors and is open to all. The group is encouraging people to come and see the classics, antiques and hot- rods, get something to eat and spend a fun evening with family and friends. The group also encourages the participation of children so that they can get a taste of the hobby. Car buffs are welcome to check out the gathering of old, classic and vin- tage cars every other Saturday start- ing at 4pm. Cruise-in returns
