Sigma Chapter of Delta gamma

The fall 2017 new member class is "living the dream" on Bid Night.
T
his winter we enjoyed a wonderful round of recruitment. Sigma
chapter made quota, and we were lucky enough to welcome 37 new
members home on Bid Night. Of these women, we have 30 freshmen,
seven sophomores, and two international students!
This year, our cumulative chapter GPA is 3.65. We hope that the new
young women who joined our chapter will work just as hard to keep our
academic achievements trending up.
One of our seniors, Jenna Hascher, Sigma 2015, NU, got to celebrate
winning a Big Ten Championship as a goalkeeper on the Northwestern
women's soccer team.
This semester, Sigma chapter hosted our annual Tactile Valentines
event and welcomed three families of visually impaired children in the
Chicago area into our home to create touch-sensitive valentines with
our members.
Later in the school year, we will be hosting the DG lounge event. During
this event, we sell late-night grilled cheese and tater tots to raise money
for Service for Sight!
Last but certainly not least, I want thank all of our wonderful alumnae
who have given your support over the years. Not only do you inspire us
daily to be better Delta Gammas, but also to be better women.
