Visit www.sigmachiclassic.com for more information. ALUMNI UPDATE CHAPTER ETERNAL Dr. Milden J. "Bob" Fox Jr. '49 entered Chapter Eternal on December 16, 2015, at his home in Bryan, Texas. His wife, Mary, arranged for one of Bob's friends to conduct the White Rose Ceremony for him. Bob loved Sigma Chi, was a lifelong, loyal member, and helped found the chapter at Texas A&M University. Lawrence N. "Bud" McKelvey Jr. '49 entered Chapter Eternal on May 3, 2016, at the age of 92. Bud served in the "Fighting 69th" in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II. He received the World War II Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon, EAME Theater Ribbon, and two Bronze Service Stars. Bud started his career at Vulcan Tank and worked for McKelvey Steel, Braden Winch, and retired from Flint Steel. He loved camping, fishing, trains, animals, and he had a lifetime love of photography. Matthew A. Schumacher '58 entered Chapter Eternal on May 6, 2016, as a resident of Chouteau, Okla. He served in the Army for two years in 1955-56 and was stationed in Korea. Matt worked as a commodities broker and bank examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Houston, Texas, in 1958-62 before returning to Oklahoma. When he was 48, Matt began law school and graduated with his J.D. degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1983. Matt practiced law in Muskogee and was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Matt dearly loved his family and all things OSU. Carl M. Harris '61 entered Chapter Eternal. He will be missed dearly by family, friends, and Gamma Delta brothers. ALUMNI NEWS Joseph A. McClure Jr. '49 reports, "I am doing just fine—my wife and I are enjoying an aging lifestyle and are in good health. I do a little workout in the gym every day." Joe turned 92 years old on New Year's Eve. E-mail: mcclure2700@comcast.net Joe B. Allen '50 shares that he retired 23 years ago in Pawhuska, Okla., and "has been busy as a bird dog ever since." He owned a feed, seed, and fertilizer store for 40 years, which he had bought from his father. Joe's son, James R. Allen, Beta Rho '80, now owns and operates the business that will be 100 years old in 2019. "My five children have been and still are wonderful. I'm thankful for them and their talented children," Joe says. Milton V. Labadie '54 is a retired CEO and president of Osage Federal Bank, now called American Heritage Bank, in Pawhuska, Okla. Milton and his wife, Sue, celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on August 28, 2016. They enjoy their large family, relatives, and friends. Warren L. Stewart '66 stays active through leasing and selling commercial real estate and "will continue to do so as long as the Lord will allow." He works every Saturday for one of his church's local missions with a group of people who build wheelchair ramps for those who cannot afford them. Jessup '73 retired from the U.S. Army as a major in aviation in 1986, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation aviation department in 2007, and the Guthrie- Edmond Regional Airport in Oklahoma as a manager in 2008. Terry is now a full-time RVer with locations in Lake City, Pennsylvania, Lima, Ohio, and Shidler. He also travels all over the U.S., Canada, and Alaska. Rosser '74 has enjoyed a fulfilling career with Big Tree Transplanting Inc. in Oklahoma City since 1976. His son, Nick Rosser '03, became UTCF president in 2002 after graduating from OSU.
