SEND YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RECRUITMENT NOW A t Texas Alpha we take great pride in the type of young men chosen to join our organization. Since its inception in 1930, Texas Alpha has made a profound effort to target well-rounded individuals who will represent this fraternity with dignity, just as those who came before us did. Texas Alpha boasts an illustrious alumni group that is truly indispensable to the success of the fraternity, in large part due to your role in the recruitment process. This process is taken very seriously by our recruitment team and the chapter as a whole. We greatly appreciate contact information for any potential new members. Thank you for your support of Texas Alpha. Jason Goolsby '19 Recruitment Chairman (469) 286-9888 jasongoolsby@utexas.edu In mid-February, 12 of the active officers attended the SigEp Carlson Leadership Academy in Oklahoma City (http://sigep.org/the- sigep-experience/events/ carlson/). The boys represented the Chapter well as they participated in leadership seminars for two days. While the five alumni who went paid their own way, your Skull & Crossbones donations funded the airfare, hotel rooms and conference fees for the 12 actives. Coming up in August, the Chapter will send a similar number of actives to Orlando for the Grand Chapter Conclave (http://sigep.org/the-sigep- experience/events/grand- chapter-conclave/). These are important events for the Chapter and the actives who attend. We appreciate the support and opportunities you give the Chapter through these donations. Without you, these educational experiences for our leaders would not be possible. Donors Make the Difference
