We are also thankful for each other, because every brother, alumnus, parent, and friend has made some sort of impact on our chapter. We wish you all the best as we kick off 2017 and look forward to seeing what we accomplish this year! Fraternally, sam schroeder '17 Outgoing Chapter President seschroeder17@gmail.com chapter eternal James benner '52 entered Chapter Eternal on May 11, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Beverlie; his sister; children; step- children; and grandchildren. Jim was an avid golfer, fisherman, and a friend to everyone he met. Jim was a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio. rudolf bredenbeck '54 entered Chapter Eternal on May 5, 2016, after a long, hard, and valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley; sons, Wayne (Lora) and Kurt; daughter, Julie (Robert); granddaughters, Hanna and Bailey; brother, William; and cousin, Herman (Joy). He competed in shot put and long jump while at UC. Rudy served in the U.S. Army from 1954-56, working in radio maintenance. Rudy then worked at Teledyne Efficient Industries for 35 years, serving as president and chairman for 18 years. He was national president of the National Tooling and Machining Association as well as president of the Cleveland chapter.
