Obituaries VELMA FAY (BIRD) FRIES Bird went home to be with and greeted by Jesus on Tuesday, August 2, 2012. She was also greeted by mom and dad and grand-daughter, Shilo Ballard and many oth- er loved ones. Bird was so looking forward to getting her new body. Bird was born on October 3, 1952 in Redding, Ca. She lived in Red Bluff for most of her life. She was 59. Bird is survived by her husband Chris; daughter Joey Ballard; both of Red Bluff, Sons; Lee of Charlotte, NC. Son Danny ; sister Susie Sanders both of Red Bluff; brother Joe Severe of Redding; 3 grandchildren John Christo- pher, Bridget Ballard, and Braden Paul Fries. A memorial service will be held at Bethel assembly in Red Bluff at 11:00 am. Thursday, August 9. Pastor Larry Jensen will officiate.
