Sigma Phi Epsilon page 3 ALABAMA ALPHA EXPONENTIALLY IMPROVES GPA Chapter SuCCeedS in philanthropiC and CampuS partiCipation F irst of all, I would like to take the time to thank each and every one of you for your support and dedication to our Chapter. Alabama Alpha is on a new track, a track for the better. In the last year we have seen immense improvements with our Chapter. In 2016: u Our Chapter GPA increased from a 2.1 to a 3.0. u The Chapter is being featured in the The Glom, Auburn's yearbook, for the first time in five years. u Members participated in the Homecoming parade, with a float built by our members and Pi Beta Phi sorority. u Participation was doubled for our annual philanthropy, Volley for a Cure. u More men are involved on campus in leadership programs and student organizations than ever before. u The Chapter House is in the middle of an extreme interior renovation that is coming along excellent. u Forty new members will be initiated into the Chapter by the end of this semester. Without the support of our families and alumni, none of this could be possible. We appreciate the time and effort that is put forth. Your dedication is truly a blessing. These improvements are just the tip of the iceberg—Alabama Alpha plans to strive further and push harder to become the best. We plan to succeed way beyond the other chapters on our campus and I believe we can reach heights that we never believed we could reach. Once again, thank you very much for your time and efforts for our Chapter; it means the world to us. Fraternally, Joe S.
